Mr. Hearns
I am so glad that you have a website, that allows us to contact you.
I feel that you are great inspiration, and asset to the History of Boxing.
You have cemented your legacy and you are the truest "fighting champion" of all time.
I wish your son all the success that you have acclaimed in your life.
You are the one and only "Hitman" of professional sports.
These thoughts came to total realitization when I watched the Floyd Mayweather v. Oscar fight.
God they are lucky they did not fight in the 1980's with the fighters you had to contend with.
All the Best Champ!

You were the best mate! I loved watching your fights during the 80's . I see some of the gutless characters about today! Makes me weep! Toe to Toe with Duran and Hagler! Inspirational! Always My Fav! Mate. regards

He's my idol and my inspiration. My only wish is to someday meet him in person.

My name is Mark Giolli. From the messages I see your name is Mark also. I have been a fan of Tommy Hearns for 25 years or so. I saw him fight two times at the Forum in Los Angeles. Once was on Feb 11, 1991 against Kemper Morton, and the other was Jan. 31, 1997.. Maybe Jan 30.. Near that date. He fought Ed Dalton in an exciting fight. Great page you have here. I have 2 or 3 websites for Tommy on the web myself. Take care. Mark Giolli

Though recognised, probably one of the most underrated fighters of all time. Poor tactical decision against Hagler cost him a fight, wrong decision against Sugar Ray cost him a fight, but apart from that Tommy's four division crusade was epic!!
